Celebration of Celebration of Guan Yin Bodhisattva’s Enlightenment Day 2024

On July 24, 2024, the annual vegetarian event commemorating Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva’s Enlightenment Day was once again held at the UK Guan Yin Citta Buddhist Charity Foundation. On this day, participants traveled from various parts of the UK to attend the event. Before it started, everyone sincerely recited blessings and earnestly listened to the Great Compassion Mantra and the Heart Sutra, which were played by the charity foundation. The guests attentively watched a video sharing titled “The Path of the Heart,” which was the theme of the event.

After enjoying the exquisite vegetarian dishes, the host actively engaged with the guests and introduced a lucky draw segment, allowing them to learn Buddhist teachings together. Seeing the enthusiastic faces of those eager to learn about Buddhism deeply moved the charity foundation. It is the culmination of countless lifetimes of karmic connections that has brought forth this heart seeking transformation through Buddhism today! We are grateful to all the volunteers for their selfless contributions, to Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva for the blessings, and to Master Lu Jun Hong for his tireless efforts in spreading the Dharma worldwide.

We want to say: although Master Lu Jun Hong has passed away, we believe he and the Bodhisattvas are always protecting every disciple. In the future, we will continue to diligently pass on the Dharma, striving to bring this wonderful teaching into every person’s heart, lighting their inner lamp so that no soul feels alone and ensuring that the flame of the Dharma continues to spread.
